;D Hi~ Yes, this is Kenn who has returned at long last, and neglecting this poor blog like crazy. I haven't forgotten it yet!
Anyways we (my friends and I, as pictured above), made a snow sofa yesterday. The structure will be expanded and become a snow Living Room, complete with a TV, PS3, two additional arm chairs, and a table. Maybe even a Snowman chillaxing. Anyways, look forward to our creations!
I've decided that I'd use this blog as an everyday life thing, rather than my previously decided "anime-otaku related" type of blog. It's too much work to think up of otaku stuff and to attempt to blog anime when I never have time.
Anyways, getting back on topic, I went on a field trip down to the B.C. Supreme Courts to watch a couple cases go, talk with a laywer (or Barrister if you want) and a judge from the Courts of Appeal (which is the highest level of court). We were also filmed during the Judge's session, so if you want a kick at the can in figuring out what I really look like, you can check that out sometime next year on the Knowledge Network, for those of you in Canada. Anyways, the court viewings weren't all that interesting, mainly because I didn't know the details of the case, and went in only looking at the charges being decided. I went to check out a hearing for Murder 1st Degree, Murder 2nd Degree, Kidnapping, and Conspiracy to Traffic. All pretty serious crimes ya know. I only went to the Murder 2nd degree and the kidnapping one though, because the rest were either off on break, or closed by the time I got there. Nothing really interesting about the talk with the lawyer, but teaching a teacher words that people use these days is pretty damn entertaining. A guy in my class said that "a case was deadly". Most people wouldn't use such slang to a teacher, especially a teacher employed in the Courts. I guess not everyone holds the same values as me, but the slang these days gets pretty outrageous. "I raped him" was one of the phrases used. What's most amusing is that we were at a court, where charges of rape, or what's now considered as "sexual assault", would be given out to well deserving convicts. No one brought up anything ridiculous during the Judge's session, as camera's were rolling, and heck, she's referred to as "Madam Justice". You don't want to mess with that.
After the session at the courts, we were free to go off on our own. I went with two friends, or more accurately, two people I got along with well during the field trip, to eat. We ended up walking in circles deciding where to go. I have to say, I don't get out to cool places enough. Downtown Vancouver's an interesting place if you have the money to do shopping down there, or up there in my case. My two acquaintances were quite familiar with the setting, unlike me, who was carefully memorizing landmarks and shops, plotting out my return path. Anyways, we ended up eating a rather nice restaurant, nothing really fancy, but much nicer than your average fast food restaurant at the corner of the street. It was pretty good, and very filling. In fact, I can still taste the olives and cherry tomatoes from my Mediterranean Linguini. Anyways, the bus ride back home was less than entertaining. I know that if I hop on the bus I did, I wouldn't have to worry about what stop I get off at, since I get off at the terminating stop. So I ended up sleeping the whole way back. Anyways, that's it for today. I guess I'll start doing this daily. Make it more entertaining perhaps.

Ah yes. Physics. Deemed the most difficult of the three Secondary School sciences. The three being Chemistry, Biology and, of course, Physics. It most certainly lives up to its name. It's been the bane of my existence this year. Each and every Day 1, it sits there, as the Goliath of my day, me being David or course. Learning each new concept is like scaling up Mount Everest. Every time I learn something new, I forget something else. One step forwards, one step backwards. The physical world has scrambled my brains, disabling me from thinking normally! I'm in despair!!
On a less depressing note, Gundam 00's Androgynous Gundam Meister, Tieria Erde, seems to shown his true colours! Now all that is needed is proof that it is him, and for him to stay that way. The Ptolmey needs more women anyways. Both images from Gelbooru
Today is Remembrance Day, a day where we pay tribute to all those valiant soldiers who fought in the many wars that helped shape the world we live in today. Here in Canada, we call it Remembrance Day. In the U.S, they call it Veterans' Day. Other countries probably have their own name for it, but nonetheless, almost every country in the world will pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. So at the 11th minute, of the 11th hour, of the 11 day, of the 11th month, we have a moment a silence to commemorate those who died in battle. It also marks the day of the Armistice of World War I, the day the war ended.
On a less serious note, I'll try to get Part 2 of the Seto no Hanayome OVA up soon.
Whew! That was a real workout. Well, that'd be my first for this blog, and probably not the last. All the links you see lead to images described by the entry. I didn't want to put too many images onto the post, so you'll have to make due with this format until I figure out a way to do so. The OVA itself was hilarious, a laughing riot! Really enjoyed watching it, and I'm waiting for the second OVA to be subbed ;D
Ah yes, the start of a new term. I've experienced it myself many times. San, looking as good as ever, is excited about the new term starting. They're a year older now! They're all looking towards a new year all in the same class...but life never lets you have your way, especially when your dad hates your husbands very existance! San's dad, Gozaborou had Nagasumi thrown into another class, much to San's horror. Turns out that Nagasumi's been thrown into a class of delinquents, where Gozaborou's expecting him meet his end. Shark Fusijiro busts his way in, introducing himself as the homeroom teacher, much to Nagasumi's surprise and horror. He then introduces the first class activity! Kill everyone. Everyone has a weapon hidden underneath their desks and they are to use it to survive the battle royale. Nagasumi, as usual, ends up with the shorter end of the stick. Meanwhile, back at the classroom, San and Luna are wondering where Nagasumi could've been thrown when an unexpected visitor and transfer student appears! Much to the mermaid's horror, especially Luna's, the transfer student is none of than the terminator Cue orz from Luna and San. As usual, whenever Edomae and Gozaborou are in the same room, they can't help but become fierce fighters! Back at Nagasumi's side of things, the battle has commenced, and the class decides to take out the weakest first, that being Nagasumi himself. Luckily for him, his super reflexes kick in at Max Level, allowing him to easily dodge all the attacks and eventually making his way to the Emperor. As always, things never turn out well for Nagasumi, and he is blown up at point blank, since the Emperor was lucky enough to get the RPG under his desk. Luna and San bust their way in just in time to witness Nagasumi get sent into the stratosphere by the Emperor. The rest of the delinquents aren't happy about the intrusion, and proceed to attack the girls. Luna's personal amry is called into the fray and an all out war begins! Luna uses her Song of War to bolster her forces, while San calms the situation down with her Song of Sleep. San ends it all with her chivalry speech, which isn't take too well by the Emperor, who says he won't forgive anyone who interrupts a fight between men. Nagasumi blocks his punch, going into super saiyan mode. Nagasumi then pays homage to Fist of the North Star, as he finishes the Emperor in a single cross counter punch, ending it with an epic martial artist question. All hail Na[gar]sumi! Akeno shows up from nowhere, going all dere dere over Nagasumi's impressive victory. Luna catches on to this, and teases her, leaving us with a very cute Akeno. Oh please, he's a married man xD However, she comes with bad news. She couldn't stop the two raging fathers from fighting, and it's escalated to the building Nagasumi was put into. As the two fathers prepare the final blow, Nagasumi runs into, determined to stop the two. As usual, the directors don't want him to have too much success, and he ends up slipping on the crab cake he had as a weapon, resulting into powerhouse punches to both sides of his head. He's not dead yet~!
Ehehehe. I went out with two of my friends to a Korean Barbecue Restaurant for dinner yesterday. It was good stuff, but not exactly as filling as I hoped it would be. Anyways, getting there was "fun". Got off at the wrong stop because I couldn't see the street names and stops since it was so fricking dark and I'm blind even with glasses. So we ended up taking a Sky Train from Joyce and walked for about a half hour to the restaurant in the pouring rain. Bonding time anyone? Lots of complaining, finger pointing, joke cracking and walking. Anyways we made it there. Two of us, including me, stayed pretty dry. On the other hand, the remaining ended up sopping wet, for reasons unknown. We shared one umbrella, since my umbrella is uselessly massive. Anyways, Jackson's coming to appreciate my gargantuan umbrella, slowly, but surely. After eating, we went across the lot to a Korean market, and picked up some interesting stuff. I got a bottle of Pocari Sweat, Korean version, and a container of gum that suspiciously looks like medication. With a name like "XYLITOL" labeled on the container which looks like a bottle for pills, who wouldn't think it was some sort of drug? Anyways, getting back was really simple. Lost track of time and get scolded by my mom >_> Anyways, that's it for today. Might get the Seto no Hanayome OVA and other anime summaries/blog/things up eventually. Too tired this week.
A snapped a picture of them. ;D I finished the Pocari though.
Hooo. Today was a day full of various sentiments. At the beginning of the day, I was dead tired. So was the rest of the class, but it carried over for the rest of the day. But then it felt like the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders! Not having to worry about projects is great. I'm writing up and making a summary/review for the Seto no Hanayome OVA 1 right now, so I'll have it up by Sunday or so. That's all for now. Image from Konachan.com
GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLL!!! 10 essays were completed last night. I have to say, they were pretty crappy. Stayed up until 3 AM working on it. 4pm -3am. Shit, that's almost 12 hours on that one thing. My friend pulled an all nighter...sorta. He had 1 hour of sleep, me having 3 hours. Regardless, I'm done. Done! I only have math (which I didn't do because of my essays) and my physics (which I also didn't do) If I learn anything from this, it'd be to not procrastinate so much. Crap. Listened to pumping loud music to keep me up. It works when you have headphones. Direct feed? Anyways, I'm off to fall asleep in 4 different classes now. Image from Gelbooru
So much to do. So little time. How would you like to complete 7 Learning journals, 1 massive lab report and 10 essays in the span of 2 days? I didn't think so. School has left me in despair! Signing up for universities and the other stuff related to it like keeping my marks up and doing everything to keep them up, like sacrificing sleep and nutrition. Ah yes, the grade 12 year grind has more than begun! Image from Minami-ke, an awesome anime series.
Yes, it is my current watchlist. It's massive isn't it? Amazing how I can watch this much while maintaining an almost normal lifestyle, and still not call myself otaku. Anyways, as you can see, there's a very broad range of genres that I watch. Let's just say I'm not a closed minded person. Anyways, that's it for this continued introduction. Yes. At long last, Kenn has his own blog. What will get on here? I was hoping to blog anime, daily life & rants, and anything that comes to mind. Sort of inspired by all the readers @ Dannychoo.com and their blogs, and I wanted one of my own. ^^" is easily influenced in a way. Anyways, I might start with the latest episodes of anime...if I can get the pictures posted properlly. ;D
