Funky School Day 2

So, this was the last formal day of classes. Realistically, nothing would be able to get done, although there was a geography final yesterday. Awesome because I have two spare blocks on Day 1.

So I got to school at around 10, went to English, where we played cards. Played Big 2 lots, didn't win too often. We played Cheat after. I'm terrible at Cheat. So was Rohin. No on win because the game took too long. Anita had almost every card. So hard to cheat.

Nothing really happened at lunch. Played more cards with Ed and them. John and them went out to get drinks. Drinks, not lemonade or coke. Drinks. ;D

In Law, nothing really happened, other than once again being congratulated by my law teacher was my "spectacular" performance at the mock trial. Yu Feng was drinking in class. Alcohol in a Wendy's cup. Clever. Apparently Darren had only a sip of alcohol and was the only one to get drunk. Then again, it's Darren, so whether he's drunk or not, he's still an idiot.

Free Block rolled around, and John and them went driving in his new car. I opted out, since John had been drinking earlier. And so that's my day. Not entirely the most entertaining time. I'll have something up a bit later as a finale for my shcool year. I actually don't have that many photos. Most of them were on my computer before it got reformatted. Sad face. Lost all those memories. Damn.

Free Block Frenzy & Afterschool Antics

Hooo. It was flippin' hot out today. Ed, John and them went somewhere, and me and Kevin stayed back. Kevin went somewhere, while I stuck around in the market for a bit, until the intense heat in there got the better of me. I left for the cooler cafeteria, where a group of grade 8's were hangin. Their teacher was involved with the fashion show, so they had a free class. They didn't spend it very wisely. Most of them were idle, or playing cards. The principal came in and busted'em all. "This is not free time. This is school. Get something to do." One guy talked back and got taken away. Sucker. Never talk back to the principal. I had my PSP, playin' some retro Pokemon Gold, but it was behind my Orxy and Crake book. You can play it with one hand. Anyways, seeing as the cafeteria was not a good place to slack, I returned to the heat of the market. The heat was not fun, but you get used to it after an hour in there.

Awight, so I played Pokemon for the rest of the block. The moment the Marketing 12 Managers came in, the first thing I heard was "it's so hot in here!". I told'em that I should be saying it. Being in there for an hour? Dayum. Anyways, things went smoothly. Christ opened up the freezer and sat in front of it for a bit, before he remembered a bag of ice that was stored in there a day earlier. Very cold. Nice for a bit, but then your hands start to go numb. Not fun. Anyways, after playing with the ice for a bit, like putting it against the back of Connie's thigh while she's on the phone, and in a box for "indirect cooling", which didn't work, it started to melt. On to Christ's pants, and the chair. After that, having a...smiling Meissenheimer at the door is not cool. The face looks real demented. Creepy stuff. He was there for a bit too. It was very warm in there. It's a haven for slackers, but a hell in the summer.

Free Block Frenzy!

Awight, so for today's free block, we drove with John down to Ed's place to pick up a few "special packages". He's got about 17 of them now. After having a popsicle as Ed's, we drove down to the McD's down on 41st for some food. John had two small burgers, I had a snack wrap, a parfait and an ice coffee. Kev and Ed had the usual I guess. Anyways, went to Tec for some Big 2. I'm terrible at it. Out of 4 games I won 2 though. Only because of the hands. Anyways, John didn't want to drive me back to the school, so I had to bus back. The bus only goes to 54th. I'm on 64th. FML. I swear I saw his car at the school when I got there. Grr.

Anyways, while I was walking down the hill to my place, with my music going, Sherman was behind me. Of course I didn't know that, since I have earbugs that cancel out ambient noise, and my music is pretty loud, so I'm pretty much in my own world when I'm plugged in. So he runs up and gives me a light punch. I only notice him then. When I walk with him, we usually end up talking about university and stuff. Don't hang around him that much. Not really much that I can think up of for conversation material. Oh well.

Free Block Frenzy!

Awight, let's get this started. Today was a CPD (Collaborative Planning Day), so class started a bit later. Including my morning free block, my classes didn't start until 11:05. Awesome. Ivy said she'd hunt me down today. Damn she was right. It was like she was waiting. Should've taken a different entrance. Only had an hour and a half of classes today.

Anyways, for the free block, we went in John's car, with his relatively unsafe driving, down to the bank for Kevin to do his stuff. After some illegal parking, a complaint about the illegal parking, and an attempted card game, we went down to McD's for some grub and free ice coffee. John and I had a snack wrap and two ice coffees, while Ed and Kevin had burgers and stuff. They had the ice coffees too, but only one and Kevin didn't like it. After two of them, I started to feel sleepy, while Kevin started to feel sick and kinda funky. I seem to have worked myself into a tolerance to Caffeine, so it sorta has the opposite effect to me. Which is awesome. Or Kevin says it's a bad thing, but oh well~. Managed to sleep in the caf while John, Kevin and Ed played Big Two.

Free Block Not Frenzy!

So here I sit. Alone in the school store, accompanied only by the loud mechanical humming of a large refrigerator, my iTouch, and a newly donated computer, coupled with an ancient CRT monitor, and a keyboard, standing on it's last legs.
There is no frenzy.
It is calm.
It is quiet, save for the humming and the tapping of the keyboard.

I can hear doors from down the hall shut.
I can hear the occasional passerby in a conversation with a friend as they walk down the hall.
I can see the leaves on the trees, rustling in the wind.

It looks like rain is coming.
Not the Korean pop star, but precipitation from the sky.

As I write about rain, I look behind to, making sure my umbrella is with me.
As I write this, I set aside work that should have been done.
Work that was set aside by another person.
Work that is not mine.

And so, here I sit, in the school store.

Afterschool Antics (plus Free Block Frenzy!)

Awight, so I'll start with the happenings of yesterday

May 12 Free Block Frenzy!

Loitered around with Ed and Kev, and eventually went to 7 for some food. With a little bit more than half of the cafeteria closed due to the elections being held there, there wasn't really much to do. Anyways, we spotted Johnson hard at work for his CS teacher, gathering up bags of ice. Ed asked for one, and Johnson passed one to us. After slipping a few cubes down a sleeping Dennis' shirt, and an injury on Kev's part, we proceeded to stash the frigid bag in Jason's locker, where we hoped it would melt, and tip over, spilling it's contents inside his locker. I found a paper shuriken, and we glued it to his locker. xD Plan failed. D: It didn't spill, and Ed put a sponge in there, so a lot of it got soaked up. Boo

May 13 After School Antics!

Went through an unhappening Marketing Block after finishing a few things, including homework, what little batteries my PSP had, and a short lived youtube session. I went back onto youtube and watched Eli's Dirty Jokes. After Episode 32, I decided it'd be fun to go back and watch some of the older ones. And so I did. Karen came in while I was watching 31, and she didn't get it. I showed it to Eddy and John, and they burst out laughing. She's too innocent. She says we're corrupting her. Wait until you decide to have children, Karen.

After School Antics (ressurected?)

Spent my freeblock mainly in the Trojan, playing Resistance: Retribution (psp). It's quite difficult, especially if you don't have cover. Anyways, this isn't the main story.

Alrighty, so afterschool, at the Trojan as usual, me, Christ, John, Mindy & Connie happened to be in there. So John had tear-aways on, the kind with the buttons and all, meant for sports and stuff, but had no shorts on underneath. It's a disturbing thought really, since he had them unbuttoned up to his knees.

John left quick, since it's not his day today, while Mindy and Connie stayed for a bit more. They talked about the prom and stuff girls would talk about, before asking us how we were gonna get there. Most people rent a limo and share the cost between a bunch of people. However, knowing us, getting a limo might be a real stretch. So then I suggested that John would drive us. Connie scoffed at my idea, saying that whatever we wore going into his car wouldn't be what we would be wearing coming out. I don't think John's driving is that bad...

Anyways, I'm really not too excited about the prom. It's held at our school (how lame is that?), and it's an over-hyped event. Chances are that someone's gonna get hurt. It's inevitable. There are other reasons for my..lack of interest in the prom, but that's another story.

Free Block Frenzy!

So, despite the saddening news that the After School Antics probably aren't running anymore, the Free Block Frenzy will be running til something happens.

Alright, so today we were in the caf chillaxing while consuming our newly bought goods from the local 711. 蛋撻 was reading a Province or Sun, so I pulled out my issue of the Georgia Straight. For some lulz, I flipped to the back where the Sex Ads are. 蛋撻 had the mischievous idea to use these on the sleeping 叉燒包. There was an ad with a bunch of bras on them, and another one, which was a gay sex service. We stuck it under his arm while he was asleep and continued with our previous activities. We couldn't hold our laughter in when he woke up though. Now if only someone else had walked past...

Free Block Frenzy 1

Today, during our freeblock, 蛋撻 and I glued that awesome face to 蘿蔔糕's locker door. It looks so very awesome, since our lockers are a pretty dull metallic gray, and the face just adds that epic splash of colour. I'll make sure more colours bless his locker.

We went with 叉燒包 to the local 7-11, got Hot dogs and candy. Nothing really happened after that, other than watching 叉燒包 play FF: Dissidia on my PSP. He loves Sephiroth for some reason. I hate hate hate him.
